Bloomsday Training Clinics
Every Saturday at 8:30am March 18 - April 29, 2023
The in-person Providence Bloomsday Training Clinics are back! The Providence Bloomsday Training Clinics begin Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Spokane Falls Community College Gym, located at 3410 W. Whistalks Way in Spokane, WA. The free seven-week program is offered consecutive Saturday mornings through April 29. The training program is free and open to the public.
The Bloomsday Training Clinics help people prepare for Bloomsday with a medically-sound, gradual conditioning and training program. Anyone planning to walk, jog or run can benefit from the weekly sessions; participants gradually condition themselves to safely complete Bloomsday on Sunday, May 7.
Each session begins at 8:30 a.m. with Providence experts discussing training topics, followed by warm-up exercises. At their own pace, participants then complete one mile the first week, adding a mile each week during the program.
The course varies from week-to-week, winding through the Spokane Falls Community College campus, and along the Spokane River and Centennial Trail.
Providence is excited to welcome Bloomies back to this in-person clinic after two years of virtual training clinics during the pandemic. Click below to register today!
