The Lilac Bloomsday Association presents the 44th running of the Lilac Bloomsday Run.
Volunteers take the registration forms and enter the runner's information into our computer system. We have a network of workstations and programs to assist in this process. We also verify the information entered and maintain counts of registered runners. Some personal computer experience is helpful but not required. Keyboard (typing) experience is more important. However, some tasks (sorting, counting, cleanup, editing, etc.) do not require the use of a computer. Training will be provided.
Regular registration processing will start Wednesday, April 8th and finish by April 21st. The work will be done in the Bloomsday Building located at 1414 N. Belt St., with shifts Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or until we have entered everything received. We are flexible within these hours, but we want to keep the workstations productive.
Late registration processing is Friday, May 1 (11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.) and Saturday, May 2 (8:00 a.m. to noon, noon to 4:00 p.m., & 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Late registration is done at the Spokane Convention Center (Exhibition Hall) in the packet pickup area. Only volunteers who have done "regular registration" will be accepted for late registration, because late registration is not the place to learn as you go.
If you're interested in helping in registration input as described above, please contact Rand Palmer.
